WHAT DOES STOPX DO?
INCREASING THE LEVEL OF SAFETY FOR PERSONS WORKING AT HEIGHTS
There is many reasons for accessing a roof and working from heights, such as Building Maintenance and Repairs, general roof inspections, servicing of air conditioning or mechanical equipment, these tasks are often only for a short period of time where it is not practical to setup Temporary Safety Systems. As the building Owner or Manager or the employer of persons accessing the roof, all have a responsibility to ensure that the environment is safe to access and the risk of falls from heights is protected.
REDUCING THE RISKS OF FINES AND PROSECUTIONS IN THE WORKPLACE
Did you know that Workplace Health and Safety can issue on the spot fines of up to $720 for each individual and up to $3600 for businesses that do not comply with controlling the risks of falls from heights. Industrial Manslaughter laws are also in affect and can carry a maximum penalty of 20 Years imprisonment for an individual or penalties of up to $10m

With the STOPX System, persons working at height must make a conscious decision before crossing the designated no-go Area Visual Delineation.
REMOVING THE INDIVIDUALS JUDGEMENT OF THE SAFE DISTANCE FROM A LIVE EDGE
What is the safe distance away from a live edge when there is a risk of a Fall? This May depend on a number of Factors, including the own individuals judgement. this may be written into a SWMS or a Risk Assessment, but Why are we then leaving this up to the individual to make this judgement when working at heights? With the STOPX delineation System we no longer have to rely on the individual to make this judgement.
